Wilma (Framhein) Croomes, 81, Lindsborg, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014. She was born November 1, 1932 in Hamburg, Germany to Ernst and Meta Ida (Weber) Framhein. At the age of two her mother died and she was raised by her father and step-mother Elisabeth.
She was married to Burl D. Croomes in 1955 and became a U.S. citizen in 1958. They settled in Salina, Kansas where Wilma worked as a production supervisor for Tony's Pizza until her retirement.
Survivors include her children: Larry (Debbie) Croomes, Bristol, Tennessee, Annette Johns, Los Angeles, California, Burl E. (Luana) Croomes, Salina, Kansas, Corbit (Wendy) Croomes, Lincoln, Nebraska, Robin (Tim) Berggren, Lindsborg, Kansas, Arnold (Stacy) Croomes, Salina, Kansas, Dacia (Christine) Croomes, Atlanta, Georgia, Selina (Jason) Wilson, Wichita, Kansas. Also grandchildren: Jesse, Evan, Crystal, Jennifer, Alisha, Jeffrey, Cutler, Madison, Shane, Jacob, Danielle, Nickole, Kennedy, Kadin, Sarah, Talyr, Tylyr, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother, daughter, Delila Pilcher, and son-in-law Andy Johns.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 27th, 10:30 a.m. at Christians Funeral Home.
