Eileen Eleanor Moore, of Salina, formerly of Roxbury, passed away April 19, 2014.
She was born October 18, 1919, the daughter of Clarence and Ruth (Johnson) Swenson in White City, KS.
Eileen was united in marriage to Walter John Moore in Council Grove, KS. Walter passed away in 2005.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Rex Moore, granddaughters; Brenda Weibert, Andrea Moore, three sisters; Dorene Kraus, Darline Rowley, Mona Erickson, and brother, Wesley Swenson.
Eileen is survived by her son, Kenneth Moore (Snooks) of Homer, AK, daughter, Doris Weibert (Ron) of Durham, KS, nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, from 4-7 pm with family present from 6-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, April 25, at Roxbury United Parish, with burial following at Valley View Cemetery, Roxbury.
Memorials may be designated Roxbury United Parish in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
