Cora Lucille Kumle, 94, of Marquette, passed away March 27, 2014.
She was born November 7, 1919, the daughter of Harry H. and Marie (Dewey) Piper in Abilene, KS.
On November 9, 1941, Lucille was united in marriage to her husband LaVern "Hap" Kumle in Little River, KS.
She was preceded in death by her sisters: Charlotte Harmon, and Ruth Peterson, and brothers: Harold, Robert, Warren, and Charles Piper.
Lucille leaves behind many loved ones including her husband, LaVern "Hap" of Marquette, son, Larry Kumle (Brenda) of McPherson, daughters: Patsy Krause of Marquette, Linda Spoon (Glenn) of Marquette, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, March 31, from 5-7 pm at Marquette United Methodist Church, Marquette.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, April 1, at Marquette United Methodist Church, with burial following at Marquette City Cemetery.
Memorials may be designated for church in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
