Donald Abraham Heline, 88, of Lindsborg, passed away September 9, 2013.
He was born July 19, 1925, the son of Abraham and Esther (Berg) Heline in McPherson, KS.
Donald was a farmer, and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. He was an Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post #140.
In 1984, Donald was united in marriage to Betty George in Lindsborg, KS. Betty passed away in 1995.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers, John Wendell and Paul Heline.
Donald leaves behind many loved ones including his nephews: Greg Heline of Lindsborg, Jeff Heline of Lawrence, cousins: Del Bonney of Iowa City, IA, Bill Berg of Lindsborg, and numerous other cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 13, at Bethany Lutheran Church, Lindsborg.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be designated for the Bethany Lutheran Church, Bethany Home, or Emil Pinkall American Legion Post 140 in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
