Gary Rex Armstrong, 74, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013. He was born in Pineville, Missouri, July 5, 1939 to Rex and Annis Armstrong. Survivors include his mother, Annis, wife Sandy, three daughters: Audrey (Tom) Riggs, Marie (Mitchell) Brown, and Ashley Hale; two step-sons Mike Allen and fiancée Tonia, Guy and (Melanie) Allen, and one step-daughter Laura (Tom) Willems, four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Rex and sister Joyce.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013, 4:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery. A celebration of Gary's life will be held directly following the committal service at Vala Hala, 101 ½ Harrison, Lindsborg, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Tammy Walker Cancer Center in Salina in care of Christians Funeral Home, 103 N Washington, Lindsborg, Kansas 67456.
There will be no visitation.
