Orvin LeRoy Lundquist, 92, of Lindsborg, passed away June 14, 2013.
He was born September 10, 1920, the son of Eben and Edla (Swenson) Lundquist in Fremont, KS.
On June 21, 1944, he was united in marriage to Ethelyn Julia Lillia, she passed away July 11, 2012.
Orvin was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers: Merton, Clinton, and Roland Lundquist, a grandson, Luke Lundquist, a great-grandson, Elliott Boren, and great-granddaughters, Teagan and Reagan Esping.
Orvin leaves behind many loved ones including his son, Gary Lundquist of Lake Charles, LA, daughters: Donna Lann (John) of Wichita, KS, Wanda Esping (Karl) of Lindsborg,KS, sister, Leona Cahoon of Augusta,KS, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, June 17, from 4-7 pm with family present from 6-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
Burial will be held Tuesday, June 18, at 9:30 a.m. at Freemount Lutheran Cemetery, with a Memorial Service following at 10:00 a.m. at Freemount Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be designated for the Freemount Historical Society or the Lindsborg Community Hospital in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
