John William Russell, 79, of Bellevue, NE, and Mankato, KS, passed away May 30, 2013. He was born May 16, 1934, the son of Ralph William and Thorborg (Brase) Russell in Kansas City, MO. John was an aircraft electronics technician for the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents and son: Clifton Nees. John leaves behind many loved ones including sons: Paul Allen Russell(Dianne) of Jacksonville, FL, Ralph William Russell (Tracy) of Papillion, NE, and Che Van Russell (Atsuko) of Alexandria, VA. Grandchildren Jonathan (22), Justin (19), Chrystal (16), and Kenley (2). A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at 2 pm at Calvary Christian Church, 10100 Cedar Island Rd., Bellevue, NE and a funeral service will be held Sunday, June 9th, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg. Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg. Memorials may be designated for Cedars Home for Children in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington PO Box 386 Lindsborg, KS 67456.
