Paul Leon Dinkel, 52, of Lindsborg, passed away May 27 , 2013. He was born January 27, 1961, to Anton and Eleanor (Appelhans) Dinkel in Hoxie, KS. Paul was employed by the City of Lindsborg for 23 years. On October 18, 1981, he was united in marriage to Mary (Howard) Nelson in Hill City, KS. Mary passed away December 10, 1998. He was preceded in death by his father, Anton, wife, Mary, brothers: David and Thomas Dinkel, and sister, Barbara Dinkel-Compitello. Paul leaves behind many loved ones including his mother, Eleanor Dinkel of Morland, KS, daughter, Lyndsi Nelson (Richard) of Lindsborg, KS, brothers: James Dinkel (Regina) of Morland, KS, John Dinkel (Cathy) of Hill City, KS, sisters: Dorothy Bennett (Ray) of Hill City, KS, Kathryn Archer of Hill City, KS, Mary Dinkel of McPherson, KS, grandchildren, Wyatt and Tyler Nelson, and 61 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, June 2, from 5-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg. A funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 3, at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg, with burial following at Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials may be designated for the Nelson grandchildren, Wyatt and Tyler, Education Fund in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
