Eleanor Marie Douglas, 87, of Salina, passed away March 24, 2013.
She was born February 21, 1926, the daughter of Luther and Florence (Anderson) Oborg in Salina, KS.
Eleanor was united in marriage on August 10, 1946, to Gene Douglas at Salemsborg Lutheran Church. Gene passed away March 18, 2003.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gene, and brothers, Floyd and Clair Oborg.
Eleanor leaves behind many loved ones including her sons: Steve Douglas and wife Deborah of Assaria, Mike Douglas and wife Diane of Lawrence, Roger Douglas and partner Abdo of Vancouver, BC, daughter, Susan Baird and husband Todd of Salina, grandchildren: Timothy (Heather), Tristin, Thomas, Trenton, Thane (Kirstin), Tyson (Shelby), Walker, and Cole Douglas, and Spencer Baird, and great-grandchildren: Damon, Ivie, Kanyon, Kieran, Suttyn, Elina, and Torben Douglas.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 28, from 4-7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 29, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Salina. Private family burial will be at Assaria Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials may be designated for St. John's Lutheran Church in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington PO Box 386 Lindsborg, KS 67456.
