Linda "Lou" Spencer, 67, of Lindsborg, passed away March 23, 2013.
She was born January 20, 1946, the daughter of Roy and Dorothy (Burr) Hayslett in Ashtabula, OH.
Lou attended Ohio State University, graduating with a degree in horticulture that she utilized as a florist for over 40 years. She also worked as an LPN, and gift shop owner.
She was united in marriage to James "Jim" Spencer on January 16, 1976 in Longmont, CO.
Lou leaves behind many loved ones including her husband, Jim of Lindsborg, daughters: Susan Gibson (Anthony) of Goddard, KS, Dawn Kurtz (Jeff) of Lindsborg, sister, Susan Staley of Ocala, FL, brother, Bradley Hayslett of Ocala, FL, grandchildren: Kyle, Jeremi, Krystin, Emily, Hannah, Savannah, Nathaniel (Luciana), Tyler, and Jacob, and great-grandchildren, Layken and Kynlea.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 31, from 5-7 p.m. with a Vigil Service following at 7 p.m. at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 1, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Salina.
Memorials may be designated for Tammy Walker Cancer Center Appearance Center in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington PO Box 386 Lindsborg, KS 67456.
