Claude Koehn, of rural Marquette, Kansas, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born July 18, 1929, at Elyria, Kansas. He reached the age of 83 years, 7 months, and 5 days.
Claude married Charlotte Hughes on July 19, 1958, at Marquette, Kansas. He was a member of the Marquette United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Oren, Harvey, Oscar, Lee, Howard, Eldon, Roy and Loel, sisters Virgie, Lois and Fern.
Survivors include his wife Charlotte, of the home, son Craig Koehn and wife Debbie, of Houston, Texas, daughters Carla Adams, husband Chris of Marquette, and Carol Baker and husband Jay, of Marquette, seven grandchildren, Ryan Koehn, Houston, Rachel Koehn, Columbia, Missouri, Rebekah Koehn, Houston, Joe Harrington, Topeka, Alex Hedgepath, Manhattan, Jarred Baker and wife Stephanie, Salina, and Jacob Baker and companion Molly, Marquette, and 4 great-grand children, Riley, Kaden, Alexus, and Jeremy, his sister Jean Koehn, Moundridge, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26th from 5-7 p.m. at Marquette United Methodist Church.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Marquette United Methodist Church, with burial following at Marquette City Cemetery.
