William D. Ringquist, 79, of Lindsborg, passed away February 5, 2012. He was born June 6, 1933, in Junction City, KS, the son of Herbin and Hattie Ringquist. On February 22, 1954, he was united in marriage to Betty Louise Vaughn at Valejo, CA. She passed away on January 15, 2010. William was a proud Navy veteran, and enjoyed operating a ham radio for many years. He was also active in the Shriners, a Past Master of Lindsborg Masonic Lodge #397, and a 32nd Degree Member of the Scottish Rite. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbin and Hattie Ringquist, wife, Betty Louise Ringquist, brother, Robert Carlson, and granddaughter, Melissa Fahey. William is survived by his sons: William Gene Ringquist (Esta) of Kingsland, GA, Steven Ringquist (Judy) of North Richland Hills, TX, daughters: Terrica Sims (Don) of Lindsborg, Victoria Casey of Hutchinson, sister, Ethel Hodges of Arlington, TX, 15 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9-12 PM Thursday at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg, with a graveside service following at 1:30 PM Thursday at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
