Ellen A. Dickerson, 88, of Lindsborg, passed away December 4, 2012.
She was born February 10, 1924, the daughter of Howard B. and Cora (Holloway) Fall in Castelton, KS.
Ellen married L. Wayne Dickerson on August 28, 1944 in Hutchinson, KS.
They moved to Garden City and started their family where she was a girl scout and brownie leader.
Moving to Lindsborg in 1968 she worked at Nadines' Gift Shop, Dr. John Riggs, DDS, and Bethany College Bookstore. She owned Lindsborg Flower and Gifts for several years then was employed by Village Clothes Lane for 25 years.
She was active in her church where she sang in the choir and took care of the alter flowers. She volunteered for "Meals on Wheels" and at the hospital gift shop.
She will be missed by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and daughter, Dianne Buster.
Ellen is survived by her son, Steve Dickerson (Karla) of Salina, daughters: Marla Miracle (Pat) of Lindsborg, Debra Burton (Bud) of Virginia, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a long time family friend Robert Levy.
