Sad to learn of Alan's passing from my Central State Alumni Magazine. I have fond memories of Alan from our days at Central and working together in Oklahoma City. I would call him once in awhile when I was back in the States. I had plan to come by and see him on my next trip. He was a very proud of his children, family meant a great deal to him. He had such a big heart in reaching out to others. The funeral profession has lost a great man. We've all been blessed to have had known him.

To Alan's family i know you miss him, as we all will. He was a true family man and father to his sons and brother to Vivian and Brad. A loyal son to his parents John and Ann. I will truely miss him as a friend and cousin as we were close growing up living only 2 miles from each on the family farms. And all the times we spent at Gradma and Grandpa Christians house at Beaver and going to Sunday School together when we were growing up. I am so sorry to hear about Alan.My wife Donna and I have your Family in our thoughts and prayers. My Dad has passed also, and he would be very distraught knowing his good buddy has passed also.Those two were so onry to each other and whoever was close by. Dad had a lot of great times with Alan in Great Bend where Alan was gracious enough to let my Dad work for him. It really wasn't work for Dad, he really enjoyed being around the guys at the Funeral home.Alan will be missed by everyone he has ever came in contact with, what a great guy!!!! Our heart pours out to you. God Bless you all !!!

Our hearts go out to the family during this time of mourning. Alan was a good friend and we enjoyed many good times when he lived in Great Bend. Sometimes God bring two people together and we don't know why. I do, Alan and I met and became instant friends. I can hear his laugh at my jokes and mine at his.
