Obituary of Delila Pilcher

On August 24, 2012 our daughter, sister, and mother, Delila Wilma Pilcher, passed away at the young age of 54. She loved life and her family more than anything in the world. She was born October 8, 1957, the daughter of Burl and Wilma (Framhein) Croomes in Hamburg, Germany. She was preceded in death by her father, Burl Croomes. Delila is survived by her daughters: Crystal Pilcher, Jennifer Sellhorn, Selina "Nina" Croomes; mother, Wilma Croomes, brothers: Burl Croomes, Corbit Croomes, Arnold Croomes, step brother: Larry Croomes, sisters: Robin Berggren, Dacia Croomes, Annette Johns, and 7 grandchildren. Delila's passion was to be the best mother she could be. She was always a mother at heart and for her it began at a young age. Her sisters and brothers were her world and she continued that love onto her own children. Delila was so proud of her family's success. She made every one of us feel special and protected. She taught us to be the best adults, the best parents, the best leaders. We will miss her dearly, for she was strength for many. We wish her rest, peace, and understanding for the special role she played in all of our lives. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM Friday at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
