David William Barbo, born November 7, 1929, Braham, MN. Died August 22, 2012, Marquette, KS. David worked in the printing business in Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin and Colorado prior to owning Barbo-Carlson LLC in Lindsborg, KS.
He served in the army during the Korean Conflict as the Personnel Officer in the signal school. In 1953 he married Beverly Foote of Cambridge, MN and they had three children. David was an active church member all of his life.
Preceding him in death were his parents; son Timothy and Tim's partner Tom Schulz. Survivors include his wife Beverly of Marquette; sister, Margaret Hellzen (Carl) of Litchfield, MN; brother Jim (Barbara) of Minneapolis, MN; daughter Pam Yoder (Keith) of Golden, CO, son Mical (Sherri) of Lansing, KS. Four grandchildren, Sean Carlson, Colleen Meheen (Sy), Joshua Barbo, Jordan Barbo and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial service to be held at Riverview Estates, 202 S. Washington, Marquette, KS, Saturday, August 25 at 1:00 pm. Fellowship following service. Family Service and inurnment to be in Minnesota.
