Leonard James Fletcher Jr., 87, of Lindsborg, passed away June 17, 2012.
He was born February 5, 1925, the son of Leonard and Ruth (Avery) Fletcher in Davis, California.
He was a Army Veteran of World War II, and a college professor at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
Leonard was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Krempp in 1974. He then married Elizabeth "Betty" Oman, and she passed away in 1989.
He is survived by his sons: Doug and wife Nancy Fletcher of Lake Winnebago, MO, Roderick and wife Julia Fletcher of Tainan, Taiwan, daughter, Patricia and husband Pete Dauer of Entiat, WA, brother, Robert A. Fletcher of Portland, OR, sister, Alice Frevert of Indianola, IA, and 5 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, July 2, at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
Memorials may be designated for the Lindsborg Senior Center in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington PO Box 386 Lindsborg, KS 67456.
There will be no visitation.
