He was born December 7, 1986, the son of Larry Brock and Anna Diaz in Schwabisch Hall, Germany.
Shotgun lived with his father in Korea and Colorado until ending up in Kansas. At age 10 he became a Marquette Wolverine while living in Falun, KS. His family eventually moved to Marquette where he resided until his passing
Shotgun above all loved his daughter Miette. He loved to write her music, be outside with her, give her hugs and show her off.
Shotgun took Miette on many walks to the skate park to show her that he could still "shred" on his skate board. Shotgun spent most of his teenage years on his skateboard
Shotguns passion was his music. He collected songs and albums that he loved to pass on and share with his friends. Playing his guitar/banjo/mandolin/harmonicas/bass/ukulele and a little bit of sax were his favorite pass times. Shotgun also loved to write lyrics, but was usually too shy to sing.
Shotgun is survived by his wife, Bobbie Brock, daughter, Miette Brock, parents; Larry and Susan Brock, Anna Diaz, brothers: Matt and Jake Sherrer, Brian Miller, sisters: Melanie Brock, Leanne Carucci, Paige Miller, and grandparents: Leon and Shirley Brock, Olga Diaz, and Joe and Dorothy Losey.
