Obituary of Elizabeth Priddy

Elizabeth Ann Priddy (Wickersham) was born on July 19th 1946 in Salina, KS to Howard and Mary Wickersham. Ann was the youngest of 7 children and grew up in New Cambria, KS with her parents and several siblings. She attended and graduated from the Solomon School District in Solomon, KS. Ann has two children, Paul Davis from Junction City, KS and Brian Davis from Olathe, KS. After having her children and watching them grow up, she went back to school and graduated from Johnson County Community College Dental Hygienist program in 1996. Ann loved the interaction with her patients and was well-liked in return. She was always there with a warm heart and cold hands. Throughout the years she had tried several hobbies, she loved to sew, play Sudoku, going to the casino with her family, and winning on the One Arm Bandit, but her favorite hobby was spending time with her husband Curtis. Ann retired in July of 2010, she loved her job and her co-workers but wanted to spend more time with her husband and family. Then came the day that changed her life, the day she found out she had cancer. She was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Ann was determined to beat the odds. She won the first round, but tragically lost the second. Ann passed away in the arms of her loving husband Curtis on Halloween 2011. It is somewhat ironic that she passed away on her favorite holiday. Ann will always be remembered for her warm heart and loving personality. She will be dearly missed by all her friends and family, but the most by her loving husband, Curtis. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, with burial following at Elmwood Cemetery.
