Obituary of Craig Van Blaricon

Craig Alan Van Blaricon, 55, of Lindsborg, passed away October 16, 2011 after complications from an accident. He was born August 24, 1956, the son of Floyd Edward and Lois A. (Boyd) Van Blaricon in Salina, KS. He married his best friend Stacy Veh on April 18, 1987, in Salina, KS. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Gary Van Blaricon. Craig is survived by his wife, Stacy of Lindsborg, daughters; Jayme Smith and husband Curtis of Paxico, KS, Alyx Van Blaricon and fiancé Eli Lutes of McPherson, KS and Dani Van Blaricon of the home, brothers; Floyd Dee Van Blaricon of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and Marvin Van Blaricon of Clay Center. Craig was a one of a kind man with a heart that knew no boundaries. He was an amazing father who showed what unconditional love really was, a husband who was selfless, protective and never let his love go unknown, and a friend that any person would be lucky to have. When he wasn't taking care of his family, he loved riding his motorcycle with his brothers and sisters from the Wind Therapy Riders. He could always be found in the garage working on one of his many projects; from perfecting his motorcycle to endlessly working on his daughters' vehicles. He was the first one to drop everything he was doing to help a friend or family member in need and when asked a favor he didn't know the word no. He was a man who left so many broken hearts and smiling faces behind. He will be forever missed and always loved. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7pm with family present from 6-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am Thursday at Evangelical Covenant Church, Lindsborg.
