Raynard Iver Johnson, 94, of Lindsborg, passed away September 29, 2011.
He was born July 29, 1917, the son of John E. and Johanna D. (Lorenzen) Johnson in Lindsborg.
He was a farmer and stockman southeast of Lindsborg, and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
He married Catherine Hurst on December 18, 1942, in Salina, KS. She passed away March 2, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his wife, brother, Liebert, and sister, Florence Toler.
Raynard is survived by his son, Dennis R. Johnson and wife Theresa of Topeka, daughter, Linda A Tegethoff and husband Harold of Hutchinson, sister, Viola Hoffman of Hutchinson, grandchildren, Denise Avery, Michelle Hurst, Jennifer Reynolds, Michaela Culkin, 3 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Monday from 4-7pm with family present from 6-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30pm Tuesday at Bethany Home Chapel. Private family burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.
Memorials may be designated for Bethany Home or Bethany Lutheran Church in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington PO Box 386 Lindsborg, KS 67456.
