Margaret Marie (Gunnarson) Soby, 89, of Lindsborg, passed away September 18, 2011.
She was born August 6, 1922, the daughter of Oscar W. Gunnarson and Marie C. Holm in Lindsborg, Kansas.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
She married Nels Peter Soby on February 9, 1951, in Lindsborg. He passed away in 1965.
Margaret is survived by her sons, William Soby of Lawrence, Charles Soby and wife Laura of Brea, CA, daughter, Mary Dose and husband Robert of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, 4 grandchildren, and 2 step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church with burial following at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.
Memorials may be designated for Messiah Lutheran Church or Bethany Home in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington PO Box 386 Lindsborg, KS 67456.
