Ann "Carpy" Rawson, 87, of Hutchinson, formerly of Lindsborg, passed away May 30, 2011.
She was born November 29, 1923, the daughter of Franklin and Lena (Dalke) Carpenter in Los Angeles, CA.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Freemount Lutheran Church.
She married Orville Rawson on August 14, 1973, in Marquette, KS. He passed away August 6, 2002.
Ann is survived by her sons; John and Sandra Myers of Marquette, Jim and Jana Myers of McPherson, Dennis and Jan Reffner of Hutchinson, Kent and Nancy Rawson of Lindsborg, Jim Rawson of McPherson, daughters; Jan and Ron Michael of Lindsborg, Diane and Dale Williams of Hutchinson, brother; Dale and Lenore Carpenter of Great Bend, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 4-7pm with family present from 6-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10am Saturday at Freemount Lutheran Church. Burial will be held at McPherson City Cemetery.
Memorials may be designated for Freemount Lutheran Church or National Alzheimer's Association in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington PO Box 386 Lindsborg, KS 67456.
