John (Gus) Harris Gustafson, 79, of Salina, passed away May 13, 2011.
Gus was born November 16, 1931, the son of John and Effie (Anderson) Gustafson in Smolan, KS.
Gus was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Salina VFW and Lindsborg American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae (Hughes) Gustafson.
He is survived by his brother, James Gustafson of Lindsborg, sister, Audrey Beemer of Tuscon, AZ, three nieces, and two nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-7pm Monday with family present from 6-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30pm Tuesday at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg. Burial with military honors will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Hedville.
Memorials may be designated for Eaglecrest Retirement Community in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O. Box 386 Lindsborg, KS.
