Carol Eileen Parkhill, 81, of Marquette, formerly of Camarillo, California, passed away May 9, 2011.
Eileen was born July 27, 1929, the daughter of Earl B. and Grace (Hollingsworth) Wickstrom in McPherson, KS.
After attending Bethany College and completing Airline Hostess school, she was employed by TWA. Her flight duties included the United States and Europe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Parkhill, son Eric Lyle Parkhill, step-daughter, Peggy Kelly, and brother, Bertis Wickstrom .
She is survived by her son, Todd Parkhill of Los Angeles, CA, sister, Mary Nolan of Marquette, KS, step-son, Cliff Parkhill of Oxnard, CA, four step-grandchildren of Texas, and niece, Cynthia Hulse, nephew, David Wickstrom, and sister-in-law, Joan Wickstrom, all of Marquette.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm Thursday at Marquette United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be designated for Riverview Estates or Marquette United Methodist Church in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O. Box 386 Lindsborg, KS.
