Mary Ann Perkins, 92, of Lindsborg, passed away April 15, 2011. She was born December 25, 1918, the daughter of George and Olive (North) Rusk southeast of Lindsborg in rural McPherson County. Mary was a homemaker, who lived in Lindsborg since 1946, coming from Buffalo, Missouri. She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Lindsborg. On October 13, 1942, she married Blaine Perkins at Urbana, Missouri. He passed away on April 16, 1987. She was preceded in death by daughters, Cheryl Christine Perkins and Doris LaVonne Perkins, as well as an infant daughter. She is survived by sons, M. Wayne Perkins of McKinney, TX, Gary Perkins of Everett, WA, Glen Perkins of Wichita, daughter, Shirley Potter of Manhattan, KS, brother, George Rusk of Renton, WA, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg, KS with visitation beginning two hours prior to the service. Burial will be held at Canton Township Cemetery. Memorials may be designated for Good Shepherd Hospice of Manhattan, KS in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O. Box 386 Lindsborg, KS.
