Marilyn Ann Rush, 72, of Marquette, passed away March 27, 2011. She was born May 27, 1938, the daughter of Floyd and Alepha (Ramsey) Cooper , in Mountain Grove, MO. She was a lifelong resident of the Langley and Marquette area. Marilyn was a homemaker, and a member of Marquette United Methodist Church, UMW, Marquette American Legion Auxiliary, and LEH. On July 3, 1956, she married Glen Rush at Marquette United Methodist Church, he passed away on June 12, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Julie McDiffett, and brother, Bobby Gene Cooper. Marilyn is survived by sons, Jack Rush of McPherson, Jim Rush of Marquette, sister, Jean Grandpre of Concordia, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Langley Cemetery. Memorials may be designated for the family in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O.
