Ingrid Marie Bengtson, 75, of Lindsborg, passed away March 25, 2011.
She was born August 20, 1925, the daughter of Arthur and Lucille (Almgren) Runbeck, in Salina, Kansas.
She was a lifetime Lindsborg resident, and a homemaker. Throughout her life, she was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and choir, Broadway RFD, Smoky Valley Historical Society, PEO, Octette, Children's Choir, and Messiah Chorus.
On August 18, 1954, she married Norman Bengtson at Messiah Lutheran Church in Lindsborg, he passed away on May 10, 1994.
Ingrid is survived by her son, Doug Bengtson of Lindsborg, daughter, Deborah "Angel" Bengtson Koelling of Lindsborg, and step-grandchildren, Scott and Sarah Borchers of Georgia, and Jason and Heather Koelling of Wichita.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm with family present from 6-7pm Monday at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
Burial will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday at Messiah Lutheran Church, Lindsborg.
Memorials may be designated for Riverview Estates of Marquette or Messiah Lutheran Church in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O. Box 386 Lindsborg, KS.
