We very much enjoyed singing Christmas carols with your dad at the Golden Living Center. His smiling countenance was always refreshing. Lamentations 3:23 ...His compassions fail not they are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:57 Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee... Praying for you, The Family of Lynn McAllister

My condolences to Ewald's family and friends. I will treasure his warm friendship and great source of a wealth of information forever. He will be sorely missed by the Smoky Valley Historical Society for his smile, humor and knowledge of all things mecanical.

I remember Ewald as the tall, lanky man who worked at the Co-op in Vliets, Kansas. His son Glen and I were classmates and friends at Frankfort High School. If I had to limit myself to one word in describing Ewald it would be "Gentleman". I never heard him swear or talk ill of anyone, ever, even if they deserved it. He was truely a good Christian man who looked for good in everyone. They way he lived his life should be an example for us all. The world has lost a kind soul but heaven has gained a beautiful voice in God's choir.

Wayne & I shall truly miss Ewald. We know him though our connection to the W.H.E.A.T. Co. We both have many fond memories of Ewald. Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. Ewald is among the rarest of men, kind, gentle, strong, well mannered, soft spoken, determined, knowledgeble, comfortable and a blessing for all that knew him.

I was saddened to learn of Ewald's passing. What a dear man he was! I was privileged to go through a Stephen Ministry Class with him at Bethany Church and his faith, wisdom and humor were an inspiration to all of us. My deepest sympathy to his family. Kathy Rishel
