Carl Evert Anderson, 91, of Lindsborg, passed away January 20, 2011, at Bethany Home. Evert was born October 24, 1919, the son of Axel E. and Elin K. (Karlson) Anderson , in rural Lindsborg, Kansas. He was a member of the Army Air Corps from 1942-45, stationed in the Philippines and Australia in WWII. Evert graduated from Bethel College & Seminary in St. Paul, MN in 1952, and as a pastor, established Baptist churches in Minnesota and California. Evert was a retired mail carrier, and a member of First Baptist Church in Lindsborg and Abilene. On July 17, 1943 he married Annabelle Carlson , she passed away July 16, 1986. He was preceded in death by a son, James, daughter, Karlene Anderson, and sisters, Dagmar Johnson and Geneva Erickson. Evert is survived by a brother Kenneth Anderson of Abilene, sister, Beulah Willard of Woodstown, NJ, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg, with visitation time one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials may be designated for First Baptist Church of Lindsborg or Bethany Home in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O. Box 386 Lindsborg, KS.
