Bruce Carlson, 56, of Lindsborg, passed away January 13, 2011 at his home in Lindsborg.
He was born April 15, 1954, the son of Dennis E. and Marilyn (Swanson) Carlson, in Salina, Kansas.
Bruce grew up in the Falun area, and was a lifetime resident of the Lindsborg area. He was a Engineering Technician at NCRA in McPherson, and worked there for over 30 years.
On April 30, 1977, he married Sue Ericson at Bethany Lutheran Church in Lindsborg.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn, in June of 1996.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Sue of the home, father Dennis Carlson of Salina, son, Cameron and wife Megan Carlson of Lindsborg, daughters, Carmen Daniel and husband Schan and their daughter Aubrey of Okinawa, Japan, Candi Carlson of Marquette, brother, Scott Carlson of Lawrence, and sister, Kim Carlson and husband Kevin Attleson of Shawnee Mission.
Visitation will be from 4-7pm with family present from 6-7pm Monday at Christians Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Lindsborg. Burial will be held at Smoky Hill Cemetery, Lindsborg.
Memorials may be designated to Bethany Lutheran Church or the Smoky Hill Cemetery Fund in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O. Box 386 Lindsborg, KS.
