Leah Annette Russell, 85, of Fostoria, OH passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023. Leah was born July 25, 1938 in Lindsborg, KS to the late Arthur and the late Vivian (Nelson) Rasmussen.
Leah was a high school graduate and attended some college. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aid and Certified Medication Aid at Bethany Home, in Lindsborg for many years.
She is survived by her daughters: Mary Smith of Bettsville, OH and Kimberly S. Stienmetz of Bettsville, OH; brothers: Marion Rasmussen of Stockton, CA, Marvin Rasmussen of Walnut Creek, CA; as well as 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Leah is preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Arthur L. Rasmussen.
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 29 at Marquette United Methodist Church, 404 W 2nd, Marquette, KS with Pastor Brenda Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg on Wednesday, November 29 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverview Estates. Memorials may be sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
