Benjamin Lee “Benji” Cunningham, 38, of Marquette passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 at home. Benji was born March 13, 1985 in Bethany, OK. He was lovingly adopted by Richard Lee and Beth Ann (Sutter) Cunningham. He served in the Iraq War as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a welder for Great Plains Manufacturing CE Division in Salina. Benji was an avid disc golf player. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and was a general outdoorsman. He is survived by; his parents: Rich and Beth Cunningham of Salina; sister: Elaine Becker (Jason) of Salina; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. Benji was preceded in death by his infant sister: Sharon Beth Cunningham. The funeral will be held 10:30 am on Monday, July 31 at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS with Pastors Doug McHenry and Jonathan Sutter officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina following the funeral service. A reception will follow the burial at the Taylor’s Twirlers Studio, at the Central Mall, Salina. Guests may use the northeast entrance. Memorials may be made to Mission 22 to help veterans with PTSD. Memorials may be sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67401.

A reception will be held, following the interment service, at the Taylor's Twirlers Studio located in the Central Mall, Salina. Guests are encouraged to use the northeast mall entrance.
