Sandra Lorraine “Sandy” Garber, 66, of Marquette passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS. Sandy was born November 3, 1956 in Salina, KS to the late Robert and the late Alice (Terry) Martin. After graduating high school in 1975, Sandy married Robert D. Garber. Sandy worked for a while as a school cafeteria worker, but was primarily and wife and mother. She is survived by her daughter: Melissa Garber of McPherson, KS; sister: Robin Albers (Roy) of Smolan, KS; brothers: Charles Martin of Marquette, KS, Scott Martin of Marquette, KS, and LeRoy Martin of Marquette, KS; as well as grandchildren: Robert Faircloth and Makenzie Faircloth; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son: Samuel Garber. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13 from 5-7PM at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS. The funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14 at Elim Lutheran Church, 403 N Lincoln St, Marquette, KS with Pastor Amy Kay Pavlovich officiating. Burial will follow at Marquette City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Autism Speaks. Memorials may be sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
