John Edward Reese, 79, of Marquette passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Riverview Estates, Marquette, KS. John was born November 30, 1943 in Wichita, KS to the late Frank and the late Laura (Roets) Reese.
John was a high school and technical school graduate. He worked as an electrical and computer technician. John was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindsborg.
He is survived by his daughter: Marsha Reese-Reynolds (Bill) of Solomon, KS; son: Mark Reese (Julie) of Halstead, KS; sisters: Pat Werth of Wichita, KS and Susan McCawley of Oregon; brother: Frank Reese, Jr. of Lindsborg, KS; as well as 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Cremation has been chosen. A memorial mass will be held 1:30 pm on Saturday, March 25 at St. Bridget Of Sweden Catholic Church, 206 W Swensson, Lindsborg, KS with Father Benjamin Shockey officiating. There will be a praying of the Rosary beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverview Estates. Memorial contributions may be sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
