I have many happy memories of singing in the Salemsborg Choir when Doris was its director. I learned a lot from her about how to be a musician and director. I’m afraid there were some evenings, though, when Dave Anderson and I were being mischievous that she went home shaking her head. She was a lovely and gracious person and she will be missed.
