Herbert A. Mendenhall, 92, passed away January 4, 2023 at Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital, Wichita, KS. Herb was born April 24, 1930, in Dawson, Nebraska, to the late Merle A. and Mabel (Cudney) Mendenhall.
He married Magdalene Swanson on March 22, 1953 in Lindsborg, Kansas. At the time of his death he was living at Via Christi Georgetown in Wichita.
Survivors include his son: Merle E. and wife Cheryl; Merle E.’s two sons: Leroy A. and his wife Beatriz and John E.; as well as his great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law: Cliff and LaVern Swanson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A memorial service will be held 10: 15 a.m., Monday, January 9, 2023 at Westminster Georgetown, 1655 S. Georgetown, Wichita, KS.
Interment of the urn will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg, KS.
