Gerald Aaron “Red” Everhart, 88, of Lindsborg passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Bethany Home. Gerald was born May 25, 1934 in rural McPHerson County, KS to the late Basil and the late Dora (Nichols) Everhart.
He married Lola M. "Vickie" Downey on June 16, 1954 at Bentonville, AR. Red was a grain elevator worker.
Survivors include brothers: Wayth Everhart (Pat) of Assaria, KS and Lonnie Everhart (Marsha) of Tescott, KS; as well as numerous extended family members.
Red is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Vickie; and sister: Dolores Young.
The funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16 at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg, with Pastor Jim Strassen officiating. Burial will follow at Canton Cemetery, Canton, KS. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany Home. Memorials may be sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
