Warren Francis Webster, 99, of Lindsborg passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at Bethany Home. Warren was born March 20, 1923 in Roxbury, KS to the late Daniel C. and the late Lillian (Keefer) Webster. He married Margaret Spongberg on January 24, 1947 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, KS. Warren served in the United States Navy during World War II. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Bethany College and worked as a service manager for Kit Manufacturing. Warren was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, American Legion Post #140, Lindsborg, VFW Post #2715, McPherson, the Lions Club, and the Lindsborg Tree Board. Survivors include his daughters: Sandra S Sharpe (Edward) of DeBary, FL, and Denise Ann Romero (A.V.) of Olathe, KS; sons: Larry W. Webster (Cindy) of McPherson, KS, and Jerry L. Webster (Melany) of Lindsborg, KS; twelve grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Warren is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Margaret; son, Gary Webster; brothers: Everett W., Wendell S., and Ronald D. Webster; sisters: Patty Johnson, Alice Carlson, and Wilma “Billie” Burch; as well as his special friend: Kathryn Frantz. A memorial service will be held 10:30 am on Monday, July 25 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, KS with Pastor Chris Deines officiating. Burial, at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg, will precede the services. Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, American Legion Post #140, VFW Post 2715, or to the Lindsborg Senior Center. Memorial contributions may be sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
