Dear Karissa, My heart goes out to you. Wes loved you so much. He was so proud of you! I want you to know that your brother was a shining light in my life. He meant the world to me, he always will. I loved him unconditionally.
My heart goes out to the Colorado family as well. Wesley Joseph was a kind, beautiful human. He will be missed. Today was the first time I was able to look at his obituary. This is not something that I ever thought we would see.

Wes was ALWAYS such an inspirationally encouraging battle buddy in our cancer battle journeys and during our treatments at cancer clinic, and privately in msgs as well! We vented, talked real talk, and at the end would ALWAYS lift one another up positively!!! I miss these moments but I also know he is finally free of all the pain and suffering! Much love and prayers to ALL his friends and family! He was definitely "one of the good ones" and gone too soon!!!! R.I.P. Wes! Fly high bro/battle buddy/dear friend!!!

I remember when y'all lived in Villa Ro. Josh and Wes were little bits. I was away at college. Mom (Lou) would go on and on and on about those 2 boys. She talked about how cute, funny, polite and smart they were. Even when the boys were in high school, individually, they would stop in to see mom frequently.
Wes may not have been Allen's genes, but he was like you in so so many ways. Allen and Candy, when you were young and poor with a 1/2 dozen kids and the odds were against you, you came together and built this beautiful family with love. You raised 6 beautiful humans, Wes included. It shows on his eyes
