Obituary of Carol Jean Moulton

Carol Jean Moulton, 86, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Bethany Home in Lindsborg. Carol was born November 1, 1935 in Ponca City, OK to the late Alvin R. "Pete" and the late Ruby I. "Inez" (Adams) Schambron. She married C.R Moulton on August 19, 1956 in Marion, KS.
Carol graduated from Marion High School before attending college at St. Mary’s of the Plains in Dodge City. She worked as an LPN at St. Luke Hospital in Marion and at Asbury Hospital in Salina. Later she worked at McCoy’s Christian Book store. She was an active member of Emmanuel Foursquare Church in Salina, where she enjoyed helping in the kitchen with meals.
Survivors include her husband: C.R. Moulton; daughters: Mary Kersey (Neal) of Bennington, KS, Jane Robertson (Jon) of Salina, KS, and Donna Moulton of Topeka, KS; son: John Moulton (Jean), of Salina, KS; Dana Hill, of Salina, who was like a daughter to her; as well as 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27 from 6-8pm at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 28 at Emmanuel Foursquare Church, 1325 E. Cloud St., Salina, KS with Pastor Loren Houltberg and Pastor Blaine Herron officiating. Burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Foursquare church. Memorials may be sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
